Description: Endangered Historic Site, the Village of Zoar, will be hosting the Annual Harvest Festival which features antiques show, historic demonstrations, and live performances. The Harvest Festival carries on a long-standing Zoarite tradition of celebrating the final gathering of summer wheat. It is widely regarded as the home of one of the countryss best antique shows and sales, with more than 60 vendors selling historic wares. Along with a craft show, art exhibition, beehive oven baking in the bakery, store, and several museums will be hosting period reenactments and demonstrations throughout the weekend, including 19th-century techniques in blacksmithing, butter churning, weaving, and bee keeping. Homemade German food and beer will served, and visitors can also enjoy live music performances and wagon rides. The festival is especially notable, as the historic Village of Zoar is currently at risk of being relocated or partially demolished; threat that prompted the National Trust for Historic Preservation to place it on its Endangered list.

Description: Christmas Comes Early to Zoar when visitors can enjoy the sights and sounds of early American and German holiday traditions at the annual Christmas in Zoar! More than 37 juried American folk and craft artisans will offer unique gifts and decor in the Historic Zoar Schoolhouse, Number One House and the Tin Shop. Museum buildings will be open, with costumed volunteers demonstrating the old ways of preparing holiday foods and wares. Free cookies and cider in the Zoar Bakery. Local student choral groups and amateur and professional musicians will provide entertainment both days, including the North Canton Hoover Choir, Trinity Ringers Bell Choir, Trinity United Church, Trumpet Singers, Delphian Chorale, and Malvern High School on Saturday. Mixed up strings dulcimers, Northwest High School Choir, and Tusky Valley Choir on Sunday. Denny Vlahos will be performing with his classical guitar in the Number One House both days. The Zoar Store will feature limited-edition Christmas cards depicting a Zoar Hotel winter scene from the 19th century, painted by local artist Don Weisgarber. Many of his original watercolors also will be on display in the gallery on the second floor of the Zoar Store. Organ music and a candlelight service and a procession to garden for the village tree lighting.

Description: Hosted by the Grove City Area Chamber of Commerce, Arts in the Alley brings more than 100 juried artists and crafters to the Grove City Town Center. These vendors line Broadway and Park Street, selling fine arts, crafts, pottery, jewelry, photography, clothing and more. Held annually during the third weekend in September, there is something for everyone at this family-friendly event. The festival features an extensive lineup of live music of various genres, delicious food served by local non-profits, specialty art shows and other art related activities. A kids fun street provides opportunities for children to make their own take-home art. The festival is kicked off Saturday morning with a community parade featuring around 150 entries. Floats, marching bands, local organizations and more march down Broadway, showing their community pride.
